MISSION STATEMENT:- 
PTU is a Ugandan Christian Organization whose Mission Statement is to follow the mission of our Lord Jesus Christ by liberating the poor and the oppressed, the sick and the voiceless. We promote Community and World Peace and Unity by bearing witness to the Good News of the Kingdom of God across: religions, cultures, races, ages and political affiliations.

THEMATIC AREAS:-

• Education: where poor children, both boys and girls, have equal inclusive access to education.
• Health: providing the community with medical supplies, health education for disease prevention and control, and access to proper nutrition.
• Livelihoods: where the communities can generate sustainable income to enable them enhance their standard of living by allowing them to meet their daily basic needs such as food security, general health, education and family support.
• Peace Building: Community peace dialogues and Annual Peace Congress for Social-Cultural Capacity Building- to provide communities and individuals with programs that improve their relationship with others, bringing peace to all through respect to human rights and dignity.
• Child Protection: through holistic approach with a focus on education, PTU strives to improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), the guardian families, youth and the community.
